Sarah Kate Wilson lives and works in London, she received her PhD from the University of Leeds in 2017 and graduated from her MFA in Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art, London in 2010.

Her practice is concerned with making paintings that are live and ON AIR. She refers to her works as ‘durational paintings’ because they unfold over time and destabilise the traditional idea of painting as a static object, hung on a wall. These works throw up questions around outsourcing, labour, authorship, trust and risk. Her works are collaborative, instructionalised, performed, danced and even aired over the radio.

Recently, her work ‘Rainbows’ was staged at the Royal Academy of Arts, London (2018) and at Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2017). In 2016 she had a solo show at BALTIC 39, Newcastle and was shortlisted for the Jerwood Painting Fellowship. Wilson curated ‘Painting in Time’ a touring exhibition with its first iteration at the Tetley, Leeds in 2015 and second iteration in Chicago at The School of the Arts Institute, Sullivan Galleries in 2016. Wilson is an Associate Lecturer at Camberwell College of Arts in BA Painting, and an Associate Lecturer at Bath Spa School of Art and Design in BA Fine Art.

Tessa Whitehead is a sculptor and a painter primarily producing work about landscape. She graduated from her MFA in Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art London in 2009.

She currently works from a studio in Nassau, The Bahamas.  Tessa had a solo presentation at VoltaNY, New York (2016) and her work is currently exhibiting in the permanent collection at The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas. Tessa also has a curatorial practice and is currently the director of The D'Aguilar Art Foundation, which includes an exhibition space.
