Sarah Roberts, LOCKDOWN PAPERS, 2020

Leeds-based artist Sarah Roberts normally creates large, exuberant installations. The Coronavirus pandemic has forced this practice to be paused and LOCKDOWN PAPERS has emerged as an alternative form of output.

The collaging of collected elements has been flattened, and combined with text to create diary-like insights into her domestic life. These snippets are at once distant and relatable, as they use the process of being locked down as food for making.
